Waterfront Park, located along the picturesque shores of San Diego Bay, served as the idyllic setting for a festival that truly captivated. By day, attendees basked in the sun while enjoying meticulously curated sounds across three distinct stages, all framed by stunning cityscape views and breathtaking sunsets. As night descended, CRSSD expanded its horizons throughout the city, offering an array of dynamic after-parties in clubs, venues, and creatively repurposed spaces. This harmonious fusion of daytime euphoria and nighttime revelry solidified CRSSD’s status as a must-attend destination for electronic music lovers craving innovative programming at every turn.

As both a DJ and a lifelong raver at heart, I loved exploring all the stages and soaking in the diverse sounds across the festival grounds. Taking the decks before Skream initially had my nerves on edge, but the incredible CRSSD team put me completely at ease. Their encouragement gave me the confidence to stay true to my artistic vision and deliver a deeply personal set. Of course, I couldn’t resist stopping by the Chapter One pop-up shop – though my newly acquired vinyl treasures have pushed my luggage over the weight limit! The Rail afterparty was the perfect finale. This intimate, queer-friendly venue welcomed me with open arms, creating a magical atmosphere that I’ll never forget.
