PLATTE is pleased to present its DIVERSE IT – A Trilague in Fashion – program as part of Fashionweek Berlin. DIVERSE IT is a multi-day program that reflects the topic of diversity in fashion for B2B and B2C. The topic of diversity, like the topic of sustainability, is not a temporary phenomenon, but an expression of the current zeitgeist and global social change.
That’s why PLATTE has been working in a diverse and inclusive manner since it was founded so that a constant and authentic exchange with Berlin’s diverse scene could succeed.
In the meantime, PLATTE has launched a catalogue of measures for the topic of diversity, which is to be implemented in 2023.
A first step has already been taken: in the summer of 2022, the record was able to recruit a “diversity officer” who advises the record and represents it externally: Axel Hahn (Them/ They).
With Axel’s support and Germany’s first agency for diversity: As part of the multi-day DIVERSE IT! program various fashions by Berlin designers can be seen and experienced.

The following Berlin designers, together with 5 selected talents, face the challenge of designing a diverse and needs-oriented look. The collaboration between designer and talent is accompanied by an authentic video to accompany the creation process of the various looks and to make the hurdles that arise visibly.

Selected press representatives, multipliers and stakeholders from the Berlin fashion world will attend the video premiere of DIVERSE IT! invited. The various looks are then presented in a live performance and made tangible.
