Explore the meeting points of diverse perspectives, blending cultural narratives and innovative techniques. The exhibition is open and accessible to everyone from July 22nd to 26th.
Eda Phanlert SRIPROM, a multi-disciplinary trans artist and founder of EdaEditions based in Berlin, articulates an intersection between the spiritual and material world, inviting the audience to contemplate concepts of gender bias, accessibility, sacredness, and intimacy about Art, Fashion, and the Buddhism. Sexting is a textile collection reconstructed from disregarded monk’s robes, implementing thought-provoking words and symbols influenced by her journey into self-discovery and desexualisation installation.
Harriet Davey is a 3D Artist and Art Director based in Berlin. Through exploring gender-non-conforming virtual avatars, Harriet restores and reclaims the bodies extorted by a male-dominated gaming industry. Obsessed with questioning what it means to be fluid and human in a digital world, their work examines and interrogates the ugly and the beautiful; the maximum and the minimum; the online and the offline.
Naomi Boima finds inspiration in Black Queer individuals from Berlin and London, weaving their stories into a vibrant tapestry of large-scale prints. Through illustration, painting, and performance, Boima deconstructs power structures with a Black feminist lens, celebrating Queer relationships and bodies while critiquing suppressive dynamics. Their art reflects a quest for beauty in desire, embracing diverse love outside white cis-heteronormativity.

Everyone is welcome to bring heels (optional – I wear flats), sunglasses, or any other accessories/clothing that make you feel confident. The workshop includes technique, posture, and battle strategies.” Join us at PLATTE Berlin for the workshop “History of Ballroom and Runway,” with German Mother Dream Louboutin celebrating empowerment and queer expression as part of PLATTE Pride Week.
German Mother Dream Louboutin made their debut on the ballroom scene five years ago in Berlin, right before relocating to firmly establish themselves within Germany’s vibrant dance community. Dream took their first steps into this world as a member of the Iconic International House of Saint-Laurent. In their inaugural year, they achieved a significant milestone by winning the prestigious European “All American Runway of the Year” award at the Galaxy Ball in Paris, bestowed by the legendary Father Charly (Ebony) Gaultier-Brown.
Over time, Dream’s talents have transcended a single category, earning them major accolades across more than 10 different categories in multiple countries. Their influence extends beyond performance; Dream has organized numerous dance events in Germany, is currently honing their skills as a DJ, and serves as an international judge and educator. After a two-year tenure with the Iconic House of Ebony, Dream transitioned to the renowned House of Miyake-Mugler and embraced a new role within the Kiki scene as the German Mother of the legendary luxury House of Louboutin. Join us at PLATTE Berlin for “Radiant Voices,” a captivating lyric event celebrating the vibrant spectrum of queer expression and creativity as part of PLATTE Pride Week. Immerse yourself in an evening outside of traditional boundaries, blending spoken word, performative lectures, and interactive art with Gorjeoux Moon, Nino Bulling, and Bär Kittelmann.
“Have You Ever Meta Haiku” by Gorjeoux Moon Somewhere between spoken word, a reading, a performative lecture, and an artist talk, ‘Have You Ever Meta Haiku’ is a deeply personal and unflinchingly honest journey through healing & recovery. It discusses queerness, gender, addiction, trauma, and the meta use of form to convey more than just words on a page can. Moving out of the darkness of rock bottoms and abuse and finding humour, light, and hope, it is as funny as it is moving, as entertaining as it is informative, and features live performances of ‘book-shaped kinetic poetry sculptures’ — poems in which words appear and disappear as they move across and through the pages they are printed
upon, revealing hidden depths, meanings, and metaphors. Gorjeoux Moon is a poet and performer whose works challenge and redefine the conventions of literature and performance. The interactive poems demand a hands-on approach, inviting the audience to explore and uncover deeper meanings through her performative engagement.
Sonic reading from “Firebugs” by Nino Bulling and Bär Kittelmann Like a conversation with a good friend, their story is told as quietly as it can be loud. Crowds and landscapes squiggle in expressive black and white. Red cuts through panels with energy and persistence, bringing life to what might seem dead. In its most intimate moments, Firebugs asks what it means to transition in a transitioning world. Artist and author Nino Bulling’s practice spans comic books, spatial installations and publishing practices. Their approach to making comics foregrounds the emotive, political, environmental, and social perspectives surrounding queer and trans collectivity. Bär Kittelmann is an interdisciplinary artist, currently focusing on sound, graphic design and illustration. Their practice is shaped by a fun-first hierarchy and being less interested in rules and limitations. Together, Nino and Bär weave the sonic reading with a narrative that questions what it means to evolve and rebuild amidst the chaos of a changing world.
