Rising producer Textbook Maneuver releases his first single of 2026, ‘Murmur 3 Home (Radio Edit)’, accompanied by a dreamy music video via Life Science Records. With nearly 150,000 streams, he has captured the attention of the global IDM and experimental electronic scene. His track ‘Adrenaline Slip’ recently saw a remix from renowned artist µ-Ziq, featured in Wonderland Magazine. Interviews with various outlets have praised his immersive debut album, Adrenaline Slip (2025), solidifying his status as an intriguing figure in experimental music.

Michael Keane, the Bronx-born composer behind the Textbook Maneuver alias, is a classically trained pianist whose sound blends cerebral design with cinematic storytelling. Drawing from influences like Genesis, Rush, and The Postal Service, his releases navigate the realms of IDM, ambient, and progressive electronica. Critics have likened his work to Jon Hopkins and Nils Frahm, with traces of Jean-Michel Jarre and Aphex Twin evident in his latest track.

Textbook Maneuver explains, “‘Murmur 3 Home’ closes out the debut album, Adrenaline Slip, and is the coda to the unofficial ‘Space Trip’ suite. I composed this song while trying to imagine the feeling of what it must be like to be home after an overextended scientific journey into orbit. I feel it also works well for any conclusion of time away from loved ones due to work or tragedy. There is an element of joy, followed by relief, then just an emotional release upon fully realizing the trip is over, and then it just fades.”
