Primavera Sound is a multi-genre Spanish festival that takes place every summer in the Parc del Fòrum on Barcelona’s seafront. From June 2nd to 12th the Primavera Sound celebrates its 20th anniversary with a little delay. CUPRA powers the experience.
To mark the occasion, the organizers of the festival extend the party fun over two weekends and once again present a line-up with the most innovative and influential acts from the entire musical spectrum from indie rock to underground electro.
A look at the line-up shows why everyone should have visited this festival at least once in their life.
All of this takes place on the 16 stages on the now legendary Primavera Sound site, north of downtown Barcelona and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
As you can probably guess by Primavera’s location – there’s not a field insight at this festival. It is located in a purpose-built outdoor area called the Forum. This seaside site was originally built for an international convention – the Universal Forum of Cultures. It is a large outdoor space with concrete floors and large auditorium areas – perfect for a festival with no mud and clear views of the bands. There is no camping at Primavera, so you will need to find accommodation elsewhere in Barcelona.
