Primavera Sound Barcelona 2026 Line Up: A Celebration of Music and Community feat. The Cure, Doja Cat, The xx, Gorillaz, Massive Attack, Lola Young and many more

As the world tunes in and excitement builds, Primavera Sound Barcelona unveils an extraordinary lineup for its 2026 edition, featuring luminaries such as The Cure, Doja Cat, The xx, Gorillaz, and Massive Attack. Each year, this festival redefines what it means to celebrate music, and 2026 is no exception, promising an unforgettable journey through genres and generations.

Primavera Sound is more than an event; it’s a vibrant tapestry woven into the very fabric of Barcelona’s identity. Since its inception in 2001, the festival has become synonymous with this charismatic city, creating a dynamic exchange where both the festival and Barcelona thrive together. Much like the iconic monuments of its streets, the festival moulds the city’s cultural landscape, while Barcelona, in turn, enriches the experience of the festival-goers.

This year’s breathtaking lineup, presenting its stunning diversity earlier than ever, is not just a series of acts but rather a celebration of individuality and artistic expression. Leading the way is the immortal The Cure, whose legacy continues with their recent album, “Songs of a Lost World.” They hold a special place in the hearts of Primavera Sound fans, known for their captivating live performances that resonate through time.

Joining them are a constellation of artists who reflect the spirit of today’s music scene. The chameleon-like Doja Cat is sure to electrify the crowd, while long-awaited returns from The xx bring a sense of nostalgia and excitement. The animated Gorillaz promises an immersive experience with their eclectic sound, and the return of shoegaze legends My Bloody Valentine rounds out a lineup that spans five decades of artistic innovation.

CUPRA enhances our festival experience this year, embodying the adventurous spirit of Primavera Sound as they take us to the heart of the music. Their commitment to making our festival journey unforgettable mirrors the excitement we feel as we gear up for June 4-6, 2026, while also showcasing the essence of exploration that embodies the festival ethos.

We can expect to see not just the familiar faces that have become staples of the Primavera Sound community, like Mac DeMarco and Bad Gyal, but also fresh talents making their debut, such as Lola Young, whose artistry promises to captivate. The lineup reveals a broader world, featuring international acts and the local talent that reflects the festival’s commitment to inclusivity and diversity.

The announcement serves as a clarion call, propelling us into the race toward an exhilarating week of music, culture, and community. The day-to-day excitement will be amplified with Primavera Bits on Sunday, setting the stage for a week-long celebration that echoes across the vibrant cityscape of Barcelona.
