Pringle of Scotland has long supported mindful making. From preserving traditional knitwear techniques to highlighting the versatility and timeless appeal of wool, the brand has often looked for creative ways to tell these stories.
The new Repurposed capsule collection supports a more conscious approach to craftsmanship, creating new clothes from vintage Pringle clothes and fabrics. By repurposing these materials, the design team was able to reimagine and rework unwanted garments into handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces. As a final touch, the swing tags on each Repurposed garment are made from live seeded paper that can be planted in the ground and one day grows into daisies and poppies!
