Queer Family Album is not just a festival; it’s an evolving tapestry of queer artistry. We are thrilled to announce the inaugural edition of this avant-garde performance series, set to debut in 2024 at Ballhaus Ost, with world premieres by KAy Garnellen and Yvonne Sembene. “Our mission is to shatter barriers and envision utopias for queer futures through a rich blend of performance-based storytelling.”
In 2024, Volume 1 of Queer Family Album will transport you through a humorous yet profound exploration of queer journeys. Collaborating artists KAy Garnellen and Yvonne Sembene will delve into themes of isolation within queer utopia and queer feminist responses to societal constraints.
