Millo Giglio studies Product Design and focuses his creative research on the intersection of material, aesthetics, and urban culture. His work explores the contamination between art, fashion, and design, with a conceptual and experimental approach that turns everyday materials into objects of expression and identity.
“Rubber Fantasy” is born from the encounter between design and matter. It’s a visual and material reflection on rubber — a substance often considered poor or marginal, here reimagined as an aesthetic and narrative language.
Conceived and directed by Millo Giglio, the project explores the relationship between fashion, object, and living space, placing rubber at the core of a contemporary vision that merges sensuality, craftsmanship, and provocation. The images feature objects created by the author, such as a chair and a coffee table made of tyres, alongside latex garments and design details that coexist in a balance of contrasts: industrial yet refined, dark yet luminous, rigid yet soft.
The Berlin aesthetic runs throughout the project: a concrete set design, raw and minimal, softened by luxurious lamps and carpets that evoke the city’s essence, ough yet sophisticated, free and experimental.
“Rubber Fantasy” is a tribute to Berlin and its rubber culture, a world often seen as taboo, yet rich in expressiveness, identity, and research. In this work, rubber becomes a symbol of transformation, a material to be rediscovered through new forms and contexts.
