My photography has always been focused on human emotions and feelings. With this project I have tried to portray the human condition of sadness in a very personal way: I have scanned some of my diary pages with my deepest thoughts and sufferings and made collages with my pictures, to give an idea of intimacy and closeness. This experience has been cathartic as it has helped me accept my pain and hopefully, it will help other people to do the same, as we are all together in this messy life, trying to learn how to ride the waves and how to accept our suffering without feeling ashamed of it.”
