The editorial “Saint” captures exactly this moment: the intersection of youthful nonchalance and a nearly statuesque stillness. While the first part of the series maintained a cool distance in gleaming white, the continuation dives into an atmospheric darkness. Here, the boundaries between shadow and silhouette blur, lending the series a nearly sacral, heavy depth.”
“The focus remains on sharp contrasts, yet they grow more complex. The familiar combination of camouflage and chains is now joined by massive black layers and voluminous cuts. Jackets hang low, almost like discarded armour, revealing a vulnerability that stands in stark contrast to the rugged streetwear aesthetic. It is a play on materiality and symbolism, heavy textiles meet delicate jewellery, utilitarian workwear meets decorative pearls.
“Saint” consistently eschews loud posing. The strength of the spread lies in the immediacy of the models and the now significantly reduced lighting. The light only grazes the surfaces, the structure of the curls, the metal of the chains, and the frayed edges of the camouflage fabric. It is about a form of masculinity that no longer defines itself through rigid codes, but through the freedom to let opposites stand side by side naturally.
In this darkness, the title “Saint” feels less like a figure of light and more like a silent rebellion against superficiality. No filters, no artificial drama, just the look, the texture, and the characters. A portrait of a generation that understands style not as a disguise, but as an expression of their own, non-conformist, and sometimes sombre reality.”
