A KALTBLUT exclusive. Silent Sentinel is a visual journey that reflects humanity’s role as a spectator and guardian of the dialogue between technological progress and its ancestral past. At the center is a female figure, immersed in contrasting landscapes where tradition and innovation are intertwined.
Impetuous modern elements encompassing the woman seem to overpower the essentiality of the primitive figure completely in connection with the natural environment. In reality, however, they are part of an invisible dialogue that continues to intertwine since the origins of our history. The project invites us to reflect on the importance of maintaining a balance between the future we build and our roots, celebrating the invisible but essential link between progress and the past.
The director, Arianna Bacilieri, class ‘99, born in Bologna and graduated in Fashion Photography at MoodArt School of Fashion Communication tells us about herself: “I am a visual artist and consider photography not only a means of
expression but also a tool to know and appreciate the beauty of reality. My aesthetic sensibility has been refined through the practical and theoretical study of my passions: fashion and photography. I consider my work, as a means of expression to transform reality into an art form”.
