Meet Marbelite, a visionary conceptual artist, producer, and performer whose work radiates through iconic visuals and an enigmatic stage presence. Hailing from Wichita, Kansas, Marbelite’s artistic voice is steeped in the rich tapestry of his flamboyant church upbringing, weaving a queer, avant-garde aesthetic that challenges conventions and invites introspection.
Now based in the vibrant city of Berlin, Marbelite crafts a diverse array of creations, from mesmerising music to striking imagery and poetic prose, each piece a testament to the radical Black imagination that fuels his artistic journey.
Marbelite unveiled Avant Marbe, a concept album designed to disrupt and redefine the boundaries of electronic music. Through the incorporation of triplet beats and syncopated rhythms, Marbelite boldly infuses raw Black Vernacular into the genre, creating a sonic experience that can only be described as unapologetically street smart and intrinsically linked to his identity as a Black gay man.
Avant Marbe invites listeners to confront their preconceptions while welcoming them into Marbelite’s world. This project unites diverse influences, New Jack Swing, Intelligent Dance Music, Techno, and Industrial, crafting a sonic landscape rich with subculture and personal narrative. It’s a bold statement in the modern electronic music conversation, aiming to challenge the existing hierarchy of what constitutes ‘intelligent’ music.

Collaborating closely with Emmanuel Yoro, a talented creative director and photographer from Milan, Marbelite ensured that the album’s styling, storytelling, and visuals would stand out in a crowded genre. It’s a rarity for an instrumental project to feature the artist’s image prominently, making the visuals of Avant Marbe a compelling extension of the music itself.
Dive into the world of Marbelite, where each note and image is not just created but lived, an exploration of identity, culture, and the transformative power of art.
