Born in Los Angeles and of Filipino heritage, he first rose to prominence as the original trumpeter in the multi-platinum band Capital Cities. Since then, his career has spanned solo success, major label work, and independent ventures. In 2018, he founded his own label, Trumpet Records, which enabled him to place his music in over a hundred ads, films, and TV projects. He has also fronted global campaigns such as Tommy Hilfiger’s denim line.
Ludwig’s music has appeared in advertising campaigns, films, and video games, while his live performances have taken him to stages at Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Bonnaroo. He has toured with Katy Perry and Bebe Rexha and collaborated with artists including Dua Lipa, Travis Scott, and Harry Styles.
