Tedé – Collection by Emilia Seitz

Introducing Emilia Seitz a fashion design graduate from Berlin. Photography by Laura Obst. Models are Henri Häckel, Johanna Rohr and Elsio B. Make up by Frieda Kamphues. Emilia Seitz´s bachelor collection entitled Tedé is about her family saga of a French soldier who fought in the Napoleonic war and had to walk from Russia back to France after the war ended. But before he could return home, he got stuck in Germany, having fallen in love with a sheltered German girl.

Although both have had completely different experiences in life, one having witnessed and experienced terrible things while the other had never really seen the outside world, these opposing worlds have attracted each other. The collection deals with the questions of one’s own identity and culture and with the definition of home. In addition, an attempt was made to unite both in order to create a completely new one.
