In a surreal blend of body cult and art object, the human form is transformed into a precious artefact — adorned, exalted, and subtly estranged. Pearls, long associated with purity and classic beauty, are reimagined here as tools of radical self-expression.
Skin becomes a canvas, the body a living ornament. Pearls sprout like mushrooms across a dreamlike terrain — clinging to eyebrows, lips, teeth. Along the spine, they trace a luminous path, echoing a second strand of DNA, a glistening evolution. At times, the model appears playful, almost childlike — tasting the pearls, toying with them as if testing their meaning or trying to consume their essence. Beauty, in this context, becomes unsettling, otherworldly, and mesmerising.
