FASHION POSITIONS is dedicated to showcasing the creativity of independent fashion designers at the intersection of art and fashion, while simultaneously strengthening Berlin as a hub for independent labels. The concept behind FASHION POSITIONS provides a nurturing ground for labels that go beyond the current “Fast Fashion” trend.

Building upon last year’s theme of “Passion,” this year’s FASHION POSITIONS takes it a step further by featuring designers who are artists at heart. Prepare to be captivated by their unique and artistic creations!

The fifth edition of FASHION POSITIONS in Berlin combines a carefully curated selection of statements from twenty innovative fashion creatives. Showcasing the vibrant and interdisciplinary creative scene in Berlin, the exhibition presents a forward-thinking mix of established designers and fresh graduates.

The application process was supported by the Fashion Council Germany, in collaboration with the Senate Department for Economics, Energy, and Business. Together, with great enthusiasm, we announce the participating fashion designers for this year’s FASHION POSITIONS.

As part of the POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair, FASHION POSITIONS offers a platform for designers to showcase their work and establish a context between fashion, installations, monumental paintings, video art, and performance art. The exhibition goes beyond fashion, showcasing the designers’ visions and perspectives.

At FASHION POSITIONS, fashion becomes an interface for experiencing art. This fresh perspective is supported by the curators Fiona Bennett and Esther Perbandt. All participating designers will be present at the fair, eagerly anticipating interdisciplinary exchanges. And of course, selected pieces from their collections will be available at the FASHION PASSION SHOP.

FASHION POSITIONS was initiated by Mira von der Osten (CRUBA), Olaf Kranz (BRACHMANN), and Kristian Jarmuschek (POSITIONS Berlin).
