A KALTBLUT exclusive. Texan photographer, Samantha Jane Beatty, teamed up with Glasgow-based styling duo, I’ll Be Your Mirror, to tell the story of rural teenagers with worldly dreams. To escape the banality of small-town-life, they experience the world through the lyrics of their music idols. Set in the picturesque fishing village of Kinghorn, Scotland, I’ll Be Your Mirror pair inspiration from 90’s Britpop and masculine shapes with a melancholic colour palette; using contemporary menswear jarred with vintage pieces, they capture the sense of being an outsider desperate to find their place. Models are Hamish Ray signed to Model Team, NEXT and Bananas, Emily Fulton signed to Model Team and Industry Model Management and Penelope Gillies signed to Superior Model Management.
