Track Premiere: Bungalovv – Broken Portals

Bungalovv proudly presents their latest release, “Broken Portals,” marking the second track from the artist on the esteemed Genome 6.66 Mbp label. This composition immerses listeners in a tapestry of atmospheric soundscapes, drawing inspiration from fantastical realms and nostalgic memories of childhood. It captures the elusive serenity of summer days while evoking the haunting presence of spirits. The track’s title suggests an invitation to traverse a fictional universe, infused with a curse or spell woven into the fabric of daily life—a collective amnesia that fades away by the end of the day.

“Broken Portals” features a unique blend of rudimentary recordings sourced by the artist over the years. Bungalovv intricately weaves sounds from a ukulele, improvised basses fashioned from wires, as well as the natural symphony of birds, trains, and storms. This collection acts as a sonic diary and travelogue, merged with melodic compositions and vibrant elements of contemporary club music.

Bungalovv is the brainchild of Pablo Betas, a talented electronic music producer originally from Buenos Aires and now based in Berlin since 2019. His sound is a vibrant fusion of Latin American rhythms, dynamic percussion, piercing trance synths, and intricate club beats, shaping an experimental soundscape where nocturnal, mechanical, and robotic elements harmoniously coexist.

Continuing the momentum from last year, Bungalovv is thrilled to announce an upcoming tour across Asia, launching in the first week of November and concluding at the end of December. This tour will see him performing in various cities throughout China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, and Japan.
