Umbro’s latest collaboration is a collection with Berlin-based creative collective Sucuk und Bratwurst. The 4-piece capsule thrives on the combination of energetic fabrics and bold details, such as the iconic alien head and crop circle-inspired spine graphic that Sucuk und Bratwurst are known for.
With the Umbro collaboration, the multi-member collective revisits techno culture’s roots as a youth movement in the 1990s – inspired by which the collection’s looks are dedicated to dystopian futurism.
The collaboration consists of athleisure wear such as the Umbro crewneck T-shirts with alien head print, longsleeve with contrasting seams, track pants with patch side pockets and the Zenomorph windbreaker jacket as the highlight piece of the capsule.
Adaptations of the hyped Sucuk und Bratwurst aesthetics pick up the dark materials with contrasting seams and details. The functionality of Umbro, combined with the innovative design of Sucuk und Bratwurst as a tribute to the feeling of freedom and non-conformity in today’s world.
