This phenomenon of abuse of surgery and cosmetic medicine mainly affects women, and can be found in large numbers in the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle influencer categories. Wanting to embrace the beauty standards of Instagram at a given moment, they do not hesitate to go under the knife for results that are often irreversible. Rarely satisfied, they often go further and further, often regretting it but becoming addicted.
The phenomenon of influencers resorting to excessive cosmetic surgery has become a major topic of debate in the world of social media. They are distinguished by their relentless pursuit of physical perfection.
