Drawing inspiration from the Uzi submachine gun to symbolise her fierce musical energy, and referencing Freyja, the Norse goddess of love and sensuality, she represents the duality of strength and vulnerability. “Uzi stands for my flow, for this compelling music. And Freyja is the Scandinavian goddess of sexuality, sensuality, and love – that is both me,” she shared in an interview with ARTE Tracks.
Her debut album, Bhelize Don’t Cry, is a brutally honest exploration of personal traumas and societal pressures. It narrates stories of family ruptures and abuse, addressing her inner child, “Bhelize,” using powerful mythological imagery.
