Photographer Charlotte Bae teamed up with set designer Katherine Entrike and make-up artist Naoko Kitano to create this stunning editorial. The veil creates an intimate space where innocence & sensuality coexist. It covers beauty but is also worn by the model to embody the fleeing moments of emotion.
“This series is a collaborative experimentation among three artists in pursuit of their passion for beauty. It explores the boundaries of fine art and fashion photography; and of flower design as wardrobe and set styling. The project was executed in Soho, NYC on July 9th, completed on August 8th, 2016. Most of the images were shot in 35mm film as well as some in digital.”
