Video Premiere: Bleedingblackwood – Last Night Lover

Okay Folks! We are back to black trench coat, the open air season is closed but we have a full on fall program of intimate concerts ahead of us. Today’s falling for is an artist who is managing his own private way to Berlin’s story telling without compromising with the party trends to remain close to the essential.

Bleedingblackwood is a poly-instrumentalist artist who rides Berlin like Peter Pan over Berghain.  Closer to the story telling, Timo C. Engel can be described as sound explorator with a black dress code. His last album «Record Full Of Last Songs» ocsilliates between vocal incantations and ellaborated lo-fi arrangements, blending gipsy instruments with subtle electronic soundscape as a signature.

Directed by the «Orange Ear» collective, a Berlin non-profit organization that provides living room concert and live caption for emerging artist, «Last Night Lover» music video paints a procession that echoes to the album flair filled with life chapter transitions.

Following characters through their moving, the album depicts a universal feeling for all the people who moved to Berlin seeking for a rebirth into a new city as in a new body.

Bleedingblackwood will be on the Schokoladen’ stage next November 19th along side  the cello player Marina Bertoni. Facebook Event
