The video, “The music video for Am I Asleep? is a DIY project that in equal parts combines Kayleigh and I’s vision. We have a longstanding visual relationship, and this time around we wanted to create a playful world of visuals that complement the tracks’ fast and fun pace. Leaning into a lo-fi/early 2000s trash world of living mixed with kawaii and spicer aesthetic, the Am I Asleep music video is a feeling extended to what our minds will idolize when you allow lustful delusion to run rampant. Special shoutout to everyone who contributed to the world, including Teddy Moore for designing and making the BBKAY shirt and Sophie Scally for letting us use her artwork and studio to shoot in.”
