“I am from Bonn and now currently reside in Berlin. I grew up in a creative family, which influenced my creative interest already in my childhood.
Today I am studying photography at Lette Verein Berlin and my work focuses mainly on fashion and conceptual photography.
The medium photography opens for me the possibility to depict the reality, as well as create own realities, which are also a representation of
self-reflection.
I am deeply connected with involving visually interesting locations and unique faces, which shows the diversity of the human being.
My examination of social norms and their oppressive power are fundamental clues in my free work. In order to give my strongly conceived photography a new lightness, my focus is currently on fashion photography.
In my opinion, this area offers a good opportunity to combine staged images with intuitive and spontaneous ideas.
The editorial ‚Zeitstillstand’ shows a time travel into the DDR-interior combined with modern aspects.” says Luisa Krautien
