#Lookbook – Adam Dalton Blake is a contemporary fashion designer living in New York with a passion for creating original illustrations and translating said illustrations into patterns with which to create garments.
After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in 2016, he has created 10 seasonal collections centring on the LGBTQ+ community while creating clothes and artwork that are bright, unique and eye-catching. Blake always had a passion for creating men’s clothes that were bold and colourful in the landscape of navy and greys that dominated commercial fashion, which has evolved into simply creating unique and bold patterns that stand out in anyone’s closet, independent of gender.
Blake has been able to collaborate with brands on illustrations on apparel as well as on various products including the LIFEWTR x CFDA collaboration, designing a graphic for a bottle sold nationwide, a graphics collaboration with Gay Pride Apparel, a yearly Pride window branding collaboration with Bonobos, and an illustration collaboration with Callen-Lorde Health Center for Pride month.
