Whether you’re at the competition at the Berlin Marathon, at the Berlin Halbmarathon, at the adidas Runners City Night or simply for fun in one of the countless green areas of the capital – Berlin is a sport-filled city and its inhabitants love to lace the running shoes. Adidas wants to promote this passion for sport and is now opening the adidas Playgrounds, public training facilities in Treptow and Wilmersdorf.
Athletes from all disciplines will now find everything they need to support a multi-faceted training session, covering around 110 square meters each. The Urban Gyms are equipped, among others, with pull-up bars, ladder, rung board, triple bars, step boxes or push-up bars.
