Berlin, SON Estrella Galicia graced the stage with an electrifying event that illuminated the night on April 23rd at the legendary Bi Nuu. This exceptional double-header featured the internationally acclaimed band Los Bitchos, joined by the spirited trio from Madrid, Las Petunias. Together, they formed an all-female lineup that was both powerful and exhilarating, showcasing the incredible range of talents that the contemporary music scene has to offer. From the moment the doors swung open, anticipation filled the air, setting the stage for an evening of euphoric celebration.
Los Bitchos captivated the audience with their signature hypnotic grooves and vibrant, tropical guitar melodies. This London-based quartet beautifully fused elements of cumbia, surf, and psychedelic sounds, creating an instrumental experience that was irresistibly danceable. Their performance was a colourful journey, alive with energy and joy, leaving the audience eager for more as the last chord echoed throughout the venue.
Kicking off the night was Las Petunias, a wave of youthful exuberance that drove the crowd wild. With their fierce punk-infused pop melodies, they delivered a powerhouse performance, reflecting the raw intensity of the 20-something experience through their debut album, Creo que soy de porcelana. The trio—Elsa, Natalia, and Cecilia—commanded the stage with undeniable charisma, challenging norms and radiating authenticity. Their intimate yet powerful lyrics resonated deeply, ensuring they left a lasting impression that won’t be easily forgotten.
