Adidas and the influence it has on the characters lifestyle / style. Creating a set for each individual paying homage to their authenticity. Adidas being a multi facet brand incorporates all cultures. First of the photographic series is Deon and his “born free” son Zaid, they both represent the traditional aspect of the brand. Danel the actress uses emotion as a form of expression and uses clothing as a language to communicate characters. Jodie the model uses expression through movement and form; beauty through movement. Terence the cinematographer also known as the eye uses composition, filling spaces with visual language. Brett Seiler the artist, curator and queer activist uses material for his work, fashion in relation to textile which speaks in his art practice.
