Asphaltgold launches anti-racism campaign for Black Friday

Streetwear online shop Asphaltgold is using Black Friday 2022 for an anti-racism campaign. Instead of big discounts, the focus is on 16 charity shirts that will be available online from November 25th to 27th. Asphaltgold donates the entire proceeds from the T-shirts to the European Network Against Racism.

“The racist attack in Hanau and the Black Lives Matter movement have prompted Asphaltgold 2020 to take a stand once again. Instead of looking for the lowest prices, one of the largest German online sneaker stores wants to use its reach and encourage people to pause and to think about the state of our world,” proclaims Asphaltgold.

Building on the last two years, the company offers exclusive t-shirts with the slogan “We all walk the same earth” in 15 different languages. There will also be another shirt that shows all 15 different languages.

The message, presented in several languages, can be understood and spread by a larger number of people, the shop explains. With the campaign, Asphaltgold also wants to strengthen the sense of belonging in the community and draw attention to the national diversity of our society.

The T-shirts are available from November 25th to 27th for 39 euros and will then be produced in the quantities sold. Unlike in the two previous years, the availability of the charity shirts in the online shop will not be limited, after the products in the first campaign in 2020 were sold out after just a few hours.

Asphaltgold donates the entire proceeds from the T-shirts to the European Network Against Racism. With the first campaign in 2020 and the building social media activation last year, the company was able to donate a total of 50,000 euros to the “Foundation against Racism in Darmstadt” and the European Network Against Racism. www.asphaltgold.com
