Building on the success of last year’s partnership with Rinse FM in France, Axel Arigato is thrilled to join forces with community radio and fundraising platform Refuge Worldwide this year. Refuge Worldwide shares the brand’s vision and works alongside grassroots music initiatives and non-profit organizations to support underrepresented and disadvantaged groups.
From November 13th to November 15th, the Axel Arigato Berlin store hosted three consecutive days of practical and theoretical DJ workshops. Led by Refuge Worldwide DJs Dangermami and Melis, these evening classes equipped participants with the necessary skills and knowledge, with all equipment provided. Renowned DJs were also present to offer practical advice and insights into the industry. The final session was recorded in both audio and video formats, providing students with valuable content to jumpstart their careers.
The Academy will culminate in an electrifying all-day in-store session on November 17th, showcasing the new skills acquired by the participants. This event, open to the public, promises a day filled with music, drinks, and special DJ guest appearances, creating an immersive AM-to-PM mixer experience.
