BBA Photography Prize 2022

#SaveTheDate – Every year the BBA Gallery organizes one of the most diverse photo exhibitions in Berlin. This year, 22 shortlisted photographers and 50 One Shot Award nominees from around the world were selected to exhibit at the cold store and showcase their photography skills. These aspiring photographers were selected for their creative, storytelling and technical skills. They give us extraordinary insight and take us into the future of photography.

The Photography Prize was launched in order to discover and promote emerging talents through applications from an international call-out. The criteria for participation are deliberately defined to be broad, with the prize open to anyone 18+, all genders and nationalities welcome, and no restrictions on experience or social/educational background. The jury is looking for the most innovative concept, aesthetical language and unique approach within the medium.

Among the shortlisted, 50 photographers selected from the One Shot Award will also be displayed on a digital showreel. Each shortlisted artist receives promotion through the gallery’s website, PR and social media channels. The winners will receive cash prizes, an artist profile on Artsy through BBA Gallery and a prestigious solo show at BBA gallery. The winners will also be promoted by BBA Gallery for at least one year. The exhibition will feature last year’s Prize Winner Jens Juul as well.
