Video Premiere! Bonaparte Unleashes Video for Double Single “People vs. Money / Fuck Money”

Berlin-based Swiss multi-instrumentalist Bonaparte knows that these are challenging times, and his response is nothing short of explosive and introspective. Brace yourself for a wild ride as he delves into the realms of both the loudest and the quietest.

In an astonishing move, Bonaparte announced the “The QUIET & The RIOT” Tour for 2024, a double tour showcasing two extremes (and it’s already partially sold out!). Each mood will have its own unique space. The classical music venues will provide thoughtful, sensual, and decelerated experiences, while the real rock clubs will be engulfed in riotous energy. Expect Dadaist influences, dance frenzies, and unbridled passion. This is the opportunity to let it all out!

Following this bipolar logic, Bonaparte has released two new songs: “Fuck Money” and “People vs. Money.” These tracks explore the themes of money in the world from two contrasting perspectives. On the one hand, “Riot” captures the raw rage against inhumanity and greed with the anthemic whispers and roaring chants of “Fuck Money / Money Fucks People,” reminiscent of the likes of Drowning Pool or Rage Against the Machine. On the B-side, tranquillity takes over as Bonaparte serenades us with deliberate calmness in “People vs. Money,” complemented by soothing guitar grooves and gentle trumpets.

The official video for this double single masterfully merges both songs into a captivating medley, brought to life by the collaboration between Bonaparte and the visionary director and Käptn Peng musician, Robert Gwisdeck.

Speaking about the collaboration, director Robert Gwisdeck states, “There are few artists with whom you can improvise as creatively as with Bonaparte.”

Now, let’s dive into the tour:

What does a chaotic person do when the world descends into chaos? They find solace and rest. And once the storm subsides, they embark on a double tour, bringing together both worlds! Prepare for an unforgettable experience as Swiss cult musician Bonaparte makes his triumphant return to the stage after four years with a tour of extremes. Whether you prefer it loud or quiet, sweaty or contemplative, pogo or flute, supernova or black hole – the choice is yours. On The QUIET & The RIOT Tour, fans will have the unique opportunity to witness the most reflective or the most tempestuous side of Bonaparte through two radically different concert formats.

Tour Dates:

The venerable classical music venues will embrace introspection, deceleration, and the quest for primordial harmony – a haven for tranquillity. Bonaparte’s quieter compositions will find their rightful place in the artist’s oeuvre during these moments. Among the selected venues, you will find the Pierre Boulez Hall in Berlin, the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, the Mozart Hall in Stuttgart, and the Carl Orff Hall in Munich. Prepare for an extraordinary inward journey.

On the other hand, prepare for an explosive opposite as the tour ignites rock clubs such as Festsaal Kreuzberg, Cologne’s Gloria, and Leipzig’s Täubchenthal. At these venues, expect nothing less than ear-splitting moments, sweat-drenched experiences, and unapologetic extroversion. Songs like Bonaparte’s iconic “Anti-Anti” and cult hit “Too Much” will be unleashed in a Dadaist and ferocious manner. Embrace the maximum dance frenzy, crowd surfing, and ecstatic excess. It’s time to RIOT!

Both concert formats will showcase new pieces and musical arrangements, ensuring an unforgettable experience of explosion and introspection. Double tickets are available for fans craving the full spectrum of Bonaparte’s duality, featuring captivating contrasts. Remember, you are cordially invited to join us in celebrating the wondrous absurdity of life!
