BUERLANGMA Spring/Summer 2025

Friday the 13th, but make it fashionable! On September 13th, 2024, BUERLANGMA, the buzzworthy Beijing fashion house, wowed everyone at London Fashion Week with their S/S25 Capsule 5 collection. Think individuality meets high drama. The name BUERLANGMA says it all—“BUER” means unique, and “LANGMA,” like Mount Everest, symbolizes aiming for the top.

Founded in 2020 by designer duo Qiqi Yuan and Crystal Wang, plus supermodel Yuan Bo Chao, this brand has blown up fast—collaborating with over 200 celebs in just two years. Hosted by Fashion Scout and backed by Designstore.store, their show was the one to watch.

This SS25 collection featured five different sections, all about blending nature, culture, and history with a modern twist. Oh, and did we mention masks? Yup, pulling inspiration from traditional Manchu ethnic clothing to create stunning face pieces that fuse cultural heritage with edgy style.
BUERLANGMA is all about creative collabs this season, too. Teaming up with three designers from different fields, bringing even more flair to their accessories and garments. Yuan even taps into her childhood memories with cool details like Chinese origami-inspired designs, giving a nod to festival traditions.

The collection’s sub-themes, Desire, Power, Degenerate Peace, and Vold, are all about exploring society from the past to the future with each one providing a commentary on society’s evolution. One standout is the Power section, featuring Rococo-inspired looks that throw it back to when nobles ruled fashion. But Yuan is all about how fashion’s evolved, saying, “Back in the day, fashion was decided by the rich, but now it’s for everyone.”

The collection was all about bold individuality and high drama to celebrate 40 years of London Fashion Week, BUERLANGMA staged an epic runway moment as Models strutted out in oversized black coats, only to shed them and reveal stunning dresses underneath—symbolizing the evolution of fashion over the decades. The whole show was a true spectacle, proving BUERLANGMA’s spot as a major force in the fashion world.
