The project “Cabroncita” recontextualizes a classic 1997 Toyota Tacoma pickup, creating a mobile sculpture that challenges established male-dominated spaces. Ginger Q, Los Angeles multimedia artist, repurposed the role of this work vehicle. The motivation behind this piece was to dismantle misogyny by putting women behind the driver’s seat and giving them control to lead the way.
This truck is a bad girl vehicle made to pave the way for females challenging & changing the status-quo.
