CAMPERLAB Unveils Ecliptic Spring/Summer 2024 Series Amidst Surreal Ruins

In an imaginative departure for Spring-Summer 2024, CAMPERLAB reveals the maiden voyage of its campaign steered by the visionary Achilles Ion Gabriel. The latest footwear and sartorial ensemble take centre stage in this pictorial narrative.

Captured by the enigmatic lens of Paul Kooiker, a maestro of surrealist undertones and sharp chiaroscuro, the visual story unfurls within a dystopian tableau. A room, stripped of colour and swathed in dust, provides the backdrop—a capsule of void and entirety, hinting at a future sensed but unseen.

In the capable hands of Academy Award-nominee set designer Shona Heath, recognized for her contribution to Yorgos Lanthimos’s “Poor Things,” the environment morphs into a space beyond the limits of time, coalescing everything and nothing.

The campaign spotlights this season’s sartorial protagonists: the bold Tormenta sneaker, the Vamonos lace-up with its confident stance, the statuesque Venga high boot, and the liberating Pelotas Flota sandal, surrounded by the gender-neutral pieces of the collection. These ensembles, textured with digitally twisted patterns and sun-bleached hues, evoke thoughts of distortion and mutable realities.

Giving life to the campaign is the dynamic Yves Tumor—blurring boundaries with his sonic experimentation and flamboyant glam semblance—and the ethereally visaged Maggie Maurer, whose runway prowess has graced the shows of elite fashion houses.
