#ParisFashionWeek – Davi’s eighth collection explores the secret life and mysterious obsessions of the poet Marcel Proust during his errands to the Parisian brothel Hotel Marigny with his friend Albert Le Cuziat. This new collection represents an imaginary wardrobe of the writer if he was one of our contemporaries. A sensual creature of the night, a predator that wants to be hunted.
Davide Marello studied fashion design at Istituto Marangoni in Milan. His career starts early working for Ter et Bantine, Dirk Bikkembergs, Mila Schon, Giorgio Armani. Gucci for almost ten years as menswear designer with Frida Giannini first and then Alessandro Michele.
Appointed in 2016 at Boglioli as first menswear and womenswear creative director in the brand history, he dresses international celebrities as Ryan Gosling, Michelle Williams, Ethan Hawke, Timothée Chalamet.
June 2018, Davide Marello presents his first collection in Paris under the label “davi”, focusing on artistic prints developed for a collection of men’s shirts, trousers, and accessories.
