Thanks to Drag, these people are able to do whatever they want and get who they want to be. Because Drag makes you forget what is happening around you. The directive of this piece is to reclaim the stereotypes that linger in an elegant, critical and humorous light against these Queens. Moreover, these photos portrait stories of modern realities through the lens of ordinary routines involving sex, drugs, and gender identity. To sum up, I wanted to reflect a different kind of beauty aside from the public’s idolised conception of standard beauty, because these queens broke up the gender lines through art.”
