ELLI Emerges with Bold Debut Album, Redefining Cosmic Synth Pop

Excitement brews as ELLI unveiled her self-titled debut album under the auspices of the Horisontal Mambo label, a creative venture led by the iconic Nordic disco figure Prins Thomas. This 12-track collection heralds a new phase in her artistic evolution, showcasing a fearless and innovative approach to cosmic synth pop.

Delving into ethereal soundscapes, cinematic layers, and the euphoric vibes of the 80s, ELLI’s debut album invites listeners on an immersive sonic journey.

“I wanted to capture a spectrum of emotions—moments that resonate with nostalgia yet transcend the ordinary,” ELLI shares. “The album navigates the delicate balance between euphoria and melancholy, crafting a narrative that feels timeless.”

Crafted in her London studio, ELLI draws inspiration from a lifetime of experiences, beginning with her dance lessons at the age of four. “Understanding the relationship between space and sound has always been captivating to me,” she explains. “I loved to experiment with different textures and sounds, even incorporating percussion made from seashells I collected in Greece. Watching films on my projector while composing lent the process a cinematic quality, as though I was scoring a visual tapestry.”

The album flows seamlessly from the inviting pulse of “New Muse” to the introspective allure of “In My Field of Experience.” ELLI expertly navigates a landscape of euphoric highs and contemplative moments, resulting in a debut that is as multi-faceted as it is authentic. An honest exploration of the self, this album promises to resonate with anyone who seeks to connect with the richness of emotion in music.
