UFW is delighted to support our friends from Ukraine—Slava Ukraine! This forum celebrates creativity, fosters impactful social initiatives, and empowers the next generation of designers navigating these challenging waters. “Many globally acclaimed Ukrainian fashion brands began their journeys right here on our runway. During this time of adversity, it is crucial to uplift young Ukrainian designers, the future of our fashion industry. For us, fashion transcends creativity; it is a powerful tool in the pursuit of our freedom, identity, and future,” shares founder and CEO Iryna Danylevska.

A standout feature in this season’s lineup is the launch of the NewGen Lab at Mystetskyi Arsenal, an innovative space fostering experimentation and nurturing emerging talent. This platform will serve as a debut runway for new designers ready to step into the spotlight. In tandem, it will transform into an educational hub, where industry titans from the White Rabbit Agency, Kyiv Academy of Media Arts (KAMA), School of Art x Craft, UFEG, and ready2wear.agency will impart their wisdom through workshops and talks focused on PR, marketing, and the fashion business.

In a monumental collaboration with INTERTOP Ukraine, the largest fashion retailer in the country, the Culture of Design project aims to spotlight up-and-coming talent, rewarding the winner with a financial bounty and the chance to create a collection for retail. Additionally, KACHOROVSKA is back with its grant initiative, furthering the growth of promising brands in the industry. Philips Steam&Go compact steamers join the fold to present an award encouraging innovation within the New Names platform.

This season also heralds the launch of “Clothing with a Function,” a program tackling pressing societal needs by creating adaptive clothing that empowers individuals facing various challenges. Spearheaded by experts like Svitlana Volkova (CEO, SVD Denim) and Makar Liberman (CEO, MAKI), this initiative promises to weave functionality into fashion, fostering independence and dignity for those with unique requirements.

Moreover, the initiative “Faces of Heroes” stands as a testament to compassion, providing support to individuals with facial injuries through the generous contributions of designers. This initiative will unfold as part of a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Yanko Charity Foundation, showcasing fashion’s capacity to heal and transform.

Ukrainian Fashion Week FW25-26 is proudly backed by VISA, Kronenbourg 1664, and PHILIPS, proving once again that in the face of adversity, creativity and community stand strong together.
