Eterna – 360° by Iurii Ladutko and Hana Frisonsova
KALTBLUT presents: Eterna! A 360° experience editorial. “The project analyses the relationship between human and virtual space and the way it influences our consciousness. Humans always sought for the ways of immortal life: starting with alchemical experiments ending with the modern concept of posthuman, when a soul lives forever with the help of new technologies and then released from the physicality of a man. Virtual space and digital transformation bring us new possibilities and approach to reassess understanding the concept of a man and its identity. For this idea, I teamed up with great artists as Hana Frisonsova and Ly Sas, and finalized the new vision with them.”
Hana: “Hybrid collection is based on the organic shapes of the imaginary world. Abstract prints were created in collaboration with an artist Eva Macekova, she used the technique of air-brush and we transformed the art pieces into the digital print applied on cotton shirts, silk dresses and wool coats. The collection includes velvet looks and hand-knitted clothes, the shoes were also created especially for the collection. Many of the garments can be worn or be adjusted for unique personalities, no matter their age or gender. It supports my feeling of gender fluidity and variability of garments. The main thing for me was creating the abstract world, where the creations/beings are partly humanoids and partly plants, that’s why I call it hybrid”.
Ly Sas: “Sometimes it would have been nice if we were able to stop surrounding just for a moment, just to enjoy it. And today it became possible, with the help of Iurii Ladutko and Hana Frisonsova, to create our world, where you will be able to go back and enjoy the beautiful space with no time in it. So with this sound piece, I tried to create an atmosphere of a zone where the time is stopped, creating an illusion of being frozen in a moment”.
