Exclusive Mixtape: Chimp Hardy

This week’s easter mix is by none other than Chimp Hardy. Part club kid, part urban shaman – Queer artist Chimp Hardy is no stranger to controversy. The Berlin-based, Texas, born DJ and producer challenges his audiences to go out of their mind with his body painted and partially naked creating a post-apocalyptic tribal utopia that transcends all boundaries.

About the mix, Chimp Hardy says: “What I missed the most about going to the clubs was the feeling of love, positive energy, good vibes, and the electricity of raw sexual energy – all of which I’ve tried to include into this mix of some of my favourite new and old techno, rave, house, and breakbeat tracks. It starts off with a nice cleansing track, gets a little dark, and then brings us back into the joyousness of life.

Indulge yourself in one hour and thirty minutes of groovy, energetic techno that’ll make you lose all inhibitions.

Chimp Hardy “Every Piece Of My Heart” and “Take Me There” from his forthcoming “Piano Love Songs For Ravers” EP are out now on Kaiser Willhelm Records. His “Piano Love Songs For Ravers” EP is released on 27 April.
