Kenji Onglao is a fashion photographer based in Manila whose work has been exhibited in Singapore and around South East Asia. His style favors an abstract interplay between lines and shapes. This fashion editorial revolves around the idea of work versus play – exposure versus concealment – by playing on the contrasting visual tropes of tapered suits versus more loose, relaxed garments. The editorial represents a visual unraveling from one mode of being to the next, work to play, stiff to loose, awake to asleep.
