Mabel McVey was born in Málaga, Spain into a supreme music family, she was raised in Stockholm and London by her famous parents Neneh Cherry and Massive Attack producer Cameron McVey. The 22-year-old R&B newcomer is now back in London from where the young artist is not only making her way into the music industry the is also a busy model with jobs for Topshop and Converse.
As a child Mabel suffered from anxiety and after beeing bullied in school, she is now an outspoken advocate on mental health and talks open about her experiences of anxiety and depression. This makes her not only an amazing musician, it makes her a role model for young girls and woman, truly one to watch!
