Introducing Maria Bernal, a fashion designer from Barcelona who recently graduated from IED Barcelona. The models are Carla Abellan and Javier Trias. “My graduate collection Family 1 F1 portrays my love for my family and my bond with them when we sit to watch F1. I combined my love for motorsport with fashion and created this collection of 4 looks with innovative pieces made from the unusual fusion of Formula 1 and the Fashion world.”
“Each look incorporates futuristic and technical elements such as the implementation of 3D printing in accessories and clothing and using fabrics such as nylon and leather. The 3D printing technique embellishes the garment and accessories always keeping in mind the functionality; a fundamental element of the collection, represented through the versatility of the pieces.”
