FASHIONCLASH Festival: The Clash House

The 12th edition of the international and interdisciplinary FASHIONCLASH Festival took place from 26 – 28 February 2021. During this three-day festival, a new generation of designers and (performing) artists from home and abroad were given the opportunity to show their work digitally to a broad and international audience. The Clash House: This editions program included a new show format and program component that focused more on performative experiences in which designers were challenged to actively experiment with forms of presentation and inclusive audience participation.

Designers participating in this program were guided by performing artists Mami Izumi and Giovanni Brand to create a unique presentation form for their new collections. Participating designers were Berend Brus, Marlou Breuls Creative Studio, NEO Design, MAARTEN VAN MULKEN, Rena Jansen and The Nightmare Disorder. In addition, there was a special presentation by XHOSA in collaboration with Black Harmony.
