Photographer Samantha Kandinsky and Creative Director Lea Bernetič Eliei teamed up together to create Foodporn. Pornographic connotation of western’s favourite ingredients and overly exaggerated and widely used hash-tag #foodporn portraying a contrasting balance between popular social media trend and not so instagrammable food, ever since avocado took the rein in the on-line food chain.
This February, photographs will be exhibited in Ljubljana and later on the exhibition will move to London’s renown underground cinema; Deptford Cinema. The opening event will take place on 1st of April. On the day of the event provocative canapés and aphrodisiac cocktails will be served alongside the Q&A with artists and a short film screening “Boiled Eggs” by French producer Kim Puric. For all the classic film enthusiasts, evening will be concluded with infamous La Grande Bouffe (1973).
