Fotografiska Berlin celebrates its Opening Day with Peaches as a headliner

Fotografiska Berlin – the Contemporary Museum of Photography, Art and Culture opens its doors to the public on September 14, 2023 with a full program encompassing the opening of its inaugural exhibitions as well as live musical performances and DJ sets spread across three rooms.

From 7 pm until midnight, guests can visit all of Fotografiska Berlin’s opening exhibitions NUDE, Candice Breitz’ Whiteface and Juliana Huxtable’s –Ussyphilia obtaining limited free tickets online. Tour guides will be available on-site to provide context for these thought-provoking and in-depth examinations of gender, race, and sexuality.

Visitors can also experience first glimpses of what makes a visit to Fotografiska special when stepping into the newly unveiled Café Bar for drinks and music performances.

“Later from 10pm on we open the Ballroom at Fotografiska: Iconic feminist musician and performance artist Peaches is considered by many as one of the most groundbreaking artists in town, having paved the way for a new, rebellious style of pop music. Also performing is self-styled ‘electric diva’ MALONDA. From midnight onwards, Fotografiska Berlin’s opening party spans multiple rooms, featuring a range of DJs representing the diverse sounds of the capital – curated by Swim Good founder Stimulus”
