#MustWear! Gucci is pleased to announce the launch of a special collection of women’s ready-to-wear and accessories that will be available solely online from 5th July 2016. Known as Gucci Garden, this exclusive collection is characterised by a new print created by Gucci’s Creative Director Alessandro Michele, which showcases flora and fauna symbols that are part of the House’s new design lexicon.
Animals and flowers that Alessandro Michele began featuring last year in his first collection for Gucci are here employed to create a veritable Gucci Garden. The key motifs of the Gucci Garden are the bee, which is a symbol used for centuries by European aristocracy and is an animal key to nature’s life cycle, and the snake, which represents wisdom and power.
